Hi,

i'm basically stuck, as i'm not able to get moving vertically with those 'nuts & bolts' .

As instructed, i hold LCTRL ( = Gomez grabs the handle) and then try either A or D but the platform is not moving.

Is there any special trick to it ? I encountered this in 2 different levels with same result ( = head banging the wall for 15 minutes).

Thanks!

No special trick, the buttons corresponding to X (grab) and then rotate (LT/RT) are how they work. Might want to double-check your bindings in the menu or verify your version is patched up.

phanboy4: With those you have to turn them with the world rotate buttons after grabbing them, not the directional buttons.
thanks for reply, but i'm mashing those A and D as much as i can (after grabbing the handle) to no awail... :-(

does it make any difference from which side the handle is grabbed ?

Also it is strange that i do not have problem with other handles (e.g. those 'rotating blocks'), just with these bolts/nuts

All I can tell you is check your keyboard bindings, because that should work based on what I'm seeing.

ok - so i changed the keys from A and D to something else - e.g. Z and X - and now it works; i re-assigned it back and the rotation didn't worked again...

strange, but issue solved
