So I have this game in my backlog for sometime now, but I am quite concerned about the 64-bit patch.

I do know that the 64-bit patch is based on version 1.32, which I guess that means that it lacks some of the bug-fixes from 1.4, plus the GOG update. What I am curious about is: do people actually prefer the 64-bit patch over the official updates, or are there something's that the updates for the 32-bit version has that the 64-bit patch itself lacks?

Also, is the 64-bit patch compatible with FCAM (FarCry Addon Mod) as well as the unofficial patches?

The very last official patch, 1.4, mainly dealt with multi-player issues. Version 1.32 64bit works better than that but the unoffical patch and/or FCAM should be fine too.

Cannot say about mods as it was too long since I tried them. Been totally satisfied with 1.41.
