This game was first and foremost the most mindblowing (or maybe even mindBLASTING) visual experience I had had since sitting down for the first time with Unreal right after it was released. The great graphics (which still look nice today, not only technically, but also the quality of the artwork) were hand-in-hand with the groundbreaking physics. CryTek's tradition of innovation in physics and graphics can also be seen in their later work, Crysis and Far Cry 2, which both kill my computer...I can run Far Cry 2 if I turn everything to minimum.
The only thing which would make me subtract half a star (if that was possible) would be the difficulty, which made me give up my first attempt to finish the game. However, I guess I would have to blame my lack in skills as well, since there are tons of people out there who didn't have any problems finishing the game whatsoever.
If you've got ten bucks, buy this game! If you don't, borrow money from your friend and buy this game!
