So i have far cy 2 fortunes edition from GOG and i messed up and got my buddy(Paul Ferenc) killed. I want to complete all buddy missions though and i search for a way to bring him back. I tried mderating the save files and thats what I do:
Open the .sav file as txt, then find Pauls line and change him status from "Betrayed" to"Alive".(As shown in the image)
Then i start the game but when I click on the continue button it says "loading failed" and the file is nowhere to be found in the "Load Game" menu. So obviously there is an anti cheat defense which denny all moded save files.
I need
1. Way to break the defense
or
2.Hack for ressurecting buddies
