Hello yall!
I'd like to ask you whether it's possible to play Far Cry 1 in (spoken) German language with the FCAM mod (1.99 with 1.5 patch)?
The FC1's GOG version is updated to 1.4 and it's working also in German. However, when I fire up FC1 as FCAM the whole game is set to English and you can't chose the language anymore. That is, in the configuariton console the only language available is "Custom".
I went through the language files in "C:\GOG Games\Far Cry\Mods\FCAM\FCData" and there's only a single file, "ZZZScripts150.pak", whereas in the vanilla game "Far Cry\FCData\Localized" contains three files: german.pak, german1.pak and german2.pak.
I guess you can't play FC1 with the FCAM mod in German but still I'd like to know it for sure.
Anybody?
Cheers!!

If anybody's wondering why I'd like to play FC1 in German: I believe that German is the game's native language since the developer is German. I think that Jack Carver has a certain laconic/assholey tone when talking. The English speaker (and writer of the dialogue) however sounds a tad flatter and less interesting in my opinion.
