Hi, I would like to get Far Cry from GoG, mostly for its editing features, but I would like to know first from those who already have bought it, does the CryEditor 1 work in this GoG version of Far Cry? I ask because I boght Unreal tournament GOTY and that game's editor doesnt work, it crashes when starting.

A friend has the GOG version: it launches, runs and was able to open a map for editing without crashing. Neither of us are map makers so nothing beyond that was tried.

I just bought the game and I'm having trouble finding the editor on the menus. Could someone please tell me were to look?

I think it's under the Bin folder.

yes, its not in the game itself, akin to the Crysis Sandbox 2 editor ( of which the map tool for far cry is known as Sandbox 1) it is a separate program that the creators of the game used themselves to map the game. everything except some animations and of course coding were done in this "Sandbox Editor"
