Same here, starting game using galaxy client will pop up splash screen, and then nothing happen... Fix it GOG please, it was working fine before.

I also had the black screen. FarCry is doing something in the background (shader cache creation maybe?). Anyways, I walked away from the black screen and after about 3ish minutes or so, the game ran. Even then the mission load was long (that orange progression bar). After that the game has always started and loaded rapidly for me. I dual boot win8.1Pro 64bit and Win10Pro 64bit.
