Far Cry 2004
i have tried the steam and the GOG versions of the game, and i can not get past the crash/lockup splash screen at 4k.
2560x1440p works and all other lower resolutions.
i have been googling for 3 or 4 days with no solution, i tried far cry widescreen fix with the same issue.
I have also been playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein at 4k 60Hz with no problems

4k TV 60Hz - GTX 2080Ti - 9700K - Win 10 Pro x64

any solution or tips would be great

You could also try the unofficial 1.41 patch that fixes AI shooting through walls and other stuff:

However, I've heard that's been applied to the most recent version of Far Cry on GOG (although I'm not certain).

I haven't tested this. I can't run anything at 4k.
