Is that the model with the intel gma 950? Its hard to say without knowing what the game uses to run, if it has tnl your going to be out of luck because I'm fairly sure that chipset doesn't support that. Otherwise it should be just powerful enough to run the game, though graphics settings probably won't be maxed.

i downloaded the demo for this game and got errors from having incompatible Tages Protection drivers that THE STUPID DEMO INSTALLED! of course, a game uninstall did not remove them so i had to go search for some tool from the company in order to get rid of the drivers. why the ???? did i get CD protection with a demo? anyway, the demo wasn't from GOG and GOG is supposed to remove the DRM. for those of you who have installed this game is there any "Tages Protection" that gets installed or is it impossible to know? thanks

Some demos do have DRM--I think most of these date to a specific number of years ago, and they include demos that install the much-maligned Starforce "protection drivers". I think such DRM is usually listed in the readme for the demos, or even the EULA, which nobody ever bothers to read, of course.
As regards the games offered on GOG.com: no, they don't have any DRM of any kind, which is one of their main selling points, in fact. The version of Fantasy Wars they have on offer here likewise is entirely and one hundred percent DRM free.

For other netbook users, I would probably browse around the internet and see how your graphics card benches - try notebookcheck.net - before purchase. Intel's integrated graphics are notoriously horrible and useless for all but the most basic of gaming.The GMA 950 is the absolute bottom-of-the-line graphics processor from Intel, usually chosen by manufacturers due to low cost and power requirements.
Newer netbooks, however, are shipping with Intel's 4500M/HD chipsets, which are over three times as powerful as the 950; with ATI's Radeon 3200 and 4225 chipsets, at six times faster; and with nVidia's ion chipset, which is about 7-8 times faster. The Radeon and nVidia chipsets also have much better drivers than Intel's and so have greater compatibility.
On my Toshiba Satellite - slightly larger than but with the same Radeon 3200 and Neo-X2 processor as some newish netbooks - FW runs fabulously, at desktop resolution, though with some of the fancier effects turned down.
