Recently bought a new laptop and installed Fantasy Wars, then took my old profile and put it in
"C:/Users/<my_user_name>/AppData/Local/GOG/com/Fantasywars/Profiles"

Now the profile turns up fine, but none of the saves associated with it are appearing, it just asks me to start a new game. The saves folder is definitely in the Profile folder, does anyone have any suggestions, any idea whats going wrong? I'd really hate to lose my ongoing campaigns.

Answering my own question here, but I found a solution.

I created a new profile, then put the saves folder from my old profile in there. Works fine now.
