Hi,

I DL'd the game and when I went to read the manuals(yes I do that because im old) they seem to be in German. I dont remember choosing that option, since I basically read only English, so im wondering if they are suppose to be in German or did I DL them wrong somehow.

Its not just you. I get the same issue too. Ended up goolging the manual to figure out some of the controls

Must be a mistake by GoG. The manual was absolutely in English for this game, since it was also the copy protection for the game. "Type in word 16 on page 44" etc.

Yeah, played this some 25 years ago, now I wanted to revisit it with actual undertanding of the mechanics - oops, the manual is in german.

Ok thanks all. I know some German since i lived their for a few years when i was a kid, but not that much haha. I didnt even think about looking online for manual, so I will have to do that.

Has someone found scanned English Documentation in PDFs floating on the web?
So far I've only found some plain text PDFs, but I'd like the scanned docs for archival purposes.

Ive only found some plain text as well...which at least lets me see how to move and such, but the pics are horrible quality. Would love to find something better.

The manual on my old CD copy of Fantasy Empires is the text manual with the bad pics. I do not think there is an English PDF of the manual running around out there. Here is an online link to the text manual in English. It is the same as what is on the CD copy, but it is better than nothing.
