macuahuitlgog: Why do I get a UK version of Fallout?
Because that is the version Interplay provided for GOG (I believe it's the same version present in the so called 'Fallout Trilogy' and is sold at Steam as well). GOG only provides one version of any game for everyone, there are no regional restrictions or versions at GOG. Everyone get's the same wether it's censored or not.
macuahuitlgog: Censorship pisses me off. And I do not think the US version of Fallout is banned in Germany. It ruins my Fallout mood when I walk around a town, and only see adults. It is very unrealistic. It would be like going to some town or city in the game and only seeing old people or only seeing men etc. It would of been nice if GOG advertised the Fallout they sell as the UK version before I purchased it...
You can turn the game into uncensored US version by installing TeamX's Fallout 1.2 Patch (semi-official). You can get it from
Petrell's Domain's Download section inside fallout folder (it's 'fallup121rc3.7z', 'fallup13.7z' is TeamX's Unofficial patch).
