For whatever smart reason, Vista decides to not let me save my saved games to the Fallout folder in Program Files unless I run Fallout as an administrator.
That said, when I run Fallout as administrator, I see games that are saved in the Fallout folder in the Program Files, but when I run it without rightclicking it and telling the computer to run it as an administrator, I see different games saved in a different folder.
Does anyone know the filepath to the saved games saved when you aren't running it as an admin?

I believe it's somewhere under the user account folder.
you know how it's
username/downloads
or
username/pictures
etc?
well I think there is a save game folder in there. without having access to a vista machine currently, I can't say for sure, but it's a good start for a look.

Nope, I already looked in my folders. I looked in the Saved Games, Documents, and DocumentsMy Games folder. No luck. I tried looking into the registry, seeing how sometimes games keep filepaths in there. No luck either, Fallout apparently doesn't keep a registry entry.
my vista machine just bailed on me, I won't be able to look this up on my end for at least another day, anyone else able to?
This might help your issue.
In Vista, when an old application without admin priviledges tries to write to a folder that it doesn't have permission for (like Program Files) then UAC, in order to allow the program to work, redirects the file to a special folder in your personal directory.
Check C:\Users\username\AppDataLocal\VirtualStore\Program Files\
