I just got to Trapper Town and spoke with the trader there who offered to train me in outdoorsmenship for $100 bucks. I accidentally said yes, but then afterward I noticed he gave <i>me</i> $100. So I was like, "sweet! $100 and training in a skill I suck at."
Well, apparently that was too good to be true because now I don't get any money for selling stuff and am unable to buy anything. When I sell stuff no money changes hands, and I only get "Your offer isn't good enough" when I try to buy anything.
Anyone heard of this? If I have to play through that stupid temple again I'm uninstalling this game. I've got the vanilla version patched to whatever it is through GOG (1.1 I think).

Thats kinda odd, are you sure that you actually put the money you want/give into the trade window? You have to balance the worth of the items for trade so that yours are at least worth the same as the item you want. The game will NOT give you money on its own. And if you want to buy something with money, it wont just substract the amount from your backpack.

You HAVE to put anything you want to trade on the table. If the trader doesnt have any money in its inventory you cannot sell anything for money.
