Hi, I installed Fallout Tactics without problem but when looked to the Add/Remove programs. I am seeing two Fallout Tactics. Did you know this? I think this is an installation problem, and I have no this kind of problem with other GOG.com games which I bought. I just want to inform this.

I have an inkling it might be because of an uninstall.isu file that is installed with the game, as well as the regular uninstall that is generated when the game is installed.
I've seen the same thing on my machine, but simply overlooked it.
Hi
We're using InnoSetup installer to create our installers, it adds uninstall shortcut to every game you install, this is regular action creating uninstallers for any kind of program for PC. Some games recognized itself by some particular registry entry, for unknown reason sometimes is an uninstall string that original game put into registry, therefore due to compatibility with addons we are leaving that registry or link.

Thanks for the reply. :)
I would just like to add that the second uninstall entry (the one without the Fallout icon) does not get removed during the uninstall. I had to remove it manually.
I tried reinstalling again and this time both Tactics Add/Remove Programs entries had the Fallout Icon. That was a surprise.
But the registry key that is left behind after uninstall is this one:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Fallout Tactics
The good one appears to be:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Fallout Tactics_is1
That's the one that is used during the uninstall and gets deleted.

I did notice this but really didn't think anything of it. Vista being all weird and all.
Thanks for the 411.
Cheers.

Yes, I noticed the IS1 version myself the other day and was thinking it might be related to this but then discounted it because I saw a few non-gog entries that had it as well. I figured it was that user account control thing going a bit weird as it sometimes does.
No plans to fix it then?
