does fallout 2 have a time limit? travelling takes a lot of time , and does fallout1 have a time limit after you bring the water chip?

Fallout 2 has a time limit of 13 years in game time, so way more then enough to do everything you want in the game and still wander about exploring.
Fallout used to have a time limit of 500 days after completing the water chip(may or may not have been trigged by talking to someone) but I believe that was patched out to be 13 years as well so you should be fine. Its also possible to extend the water chip time limit by a further 100 days by talking to a faction in the game.
