I dont recall seeing an R, reload weapon would be my guess

Edit: just booted up both Fallout 1 and 2 and I didnt see an "R" on a target at all so ignore me

It doesn't happen all the time. Sometimes the "R" is there and sometimes it's not.

You're correct,the "R" means you need to Reload, DUH!! I guess I had another senior Moment:)

Glad you found out what it was, As I said I booted up both 1 & 2 and didnt see it so I assumed I was wrong.

Have fun though, both Fallouts 1 and 2 are really good games
