For some reason, after probably 9 or 10 hours into the game, whenever I save, the game slows down and is impossibly laggy. [snip]

Edit: However I discovered that I only have the problem when I rename the saves, so I'm not overly concerned any longer ( can keep the names which were just 01 through 10 and use the dates for reference of latest save)
