Like many, I had played the original Fallout series back when they were first released. Now that Fallout 3 is out I had longed for the joy of the original games so. The interface is very antiquated by today's standards but the story, humor and rich gameworld are as solid as ever. The game is just as fun today as it was when it was released and is worth the minimal investment in money and hard drive space.
For those that never played the origanaland only Fallout 3, the weapons, enemies and allies will all be familiar enough so the new interface will not seem overwhelming. The rich story and dark humor are present as well, making the orginals and the new Bethesda rendition complment each other perfectly.
