I just killed the owner of FLC in the HUB (Fallout 1) and I can't pick the vault's lock. What else can I do to get in there and get all those caps?

Also, always remember that you can get more money out of the FLC by taking out loans and immediately repaying them. Take out the loan and immediately repay it to get access to the next higher loan. When you reach the max (it's $1000 or $2000, I can't remember which off the top of my head), kill the guys at FLC rather than paying the loan back. Free money.

you can always do what I did, and just get your gamble super high, hold down 1 and 4 at the dealer table and walk away, take a nap, watch a movie, and then go to work, come back and find your game crashed because you exceeded the amount of money actually possible within the game.

I ended up just retrying the lockpick a couple of times. after the 2nd or 3rd try it opened.
