Hey I was wondering if anyone had figured out a way to use NVSE on Fallout NV while also still getting the galaxy in-game overlay to show up while playing. I know its not a huge deal but I do like having the overlay accessible duirng gameplay, as well as being able to get achievements.

You can also edit the .ini File Galaxy puts in the game folder to replace the loader .EXE in there with the FOSE / NVSE .EXE instead of renaming files, if you'd rather do that. Should both work fine, though.

And, my Overlay worked just fine... I disabled it for performance reasons, though. It caused ~1s of delay, like, mouse lag. Guess my machine's not hardcore enough to deal with that stuff.

Oh that is interesting. What .ini file would it be that you changed? I've looked through the ones that look galaxy specific but the changes i've made don' seem to have any effect

You need to restart Galaxy, or better yet, close it before you edit the file.
And, whoops. I meant the .INFO File Galaxy creates. Been talking about settings in the .ini file somewhere else just before, must've slipped on the keyboard there. There's only one .INFO file around, can't miss it.

Opening with the text editor should work just fine.
Go into the game folder, rename FalloutNVLauncher.exe to FalloutNVLauncher_backup.exe (or anything really) and then rename your NVSE loader.exe to FalloutNVLauncher.exe. Run Fallout: New Vegas from the Galaxy client and it should now load the NVSE with the Galaxy overlay. It's kind of a dirty workaround, but it works.
