It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I just wanted to let those who own and play Fallout 1 from the original disc that there is a problem with NVIDIA "Dynamic Super Resolution" or "DSR" that will prevent you from playing the game. If you have "DSR" enabled and try to play Fallout 1 the game runs fine up until the main menu and then it seems like the frame buffer gets screwed up because of the way "DSR" works with the frame buffer.

Just disable "DSR" and you should be fine.

You can also fix the rainbow color problem by creating a .bat file where the falloutw.exe is and pasting the following inside of it and running Fallout 1 from the .bat file.

taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
falloutw.exe
Start explorer.exe

This way when you close Fallout 1 your start menu and everything will pop back up and windows will be back to normal again... just make sure you close Fallout 1 and NOT the command prompt.

If you accidentally terminate the command prompt instead of Fallout 1 you can ALT+CTRL+DEL and "Start Task Manager" then "File" -> "New Task (Run)" and type explorer then click OK.

Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know about the "DSR" issue with the game.
