When you first talk to an npc in the first two games, you can get a positive, negative, or neutral reaction. Having a negative reaction can change your dealings with that person. Getting a good reaction sometimes has its own benefits.

For example, if you got a positive reaction from Tandi in the first game, she would put Junktown on your map and tell you about the Deathclaw. On the other hand, Harry will say he's going to beat your head in if you get a negative reaction and turns hostile afterward.

Also, if you don't get the Glow quest from him the first time you speak to him, Cabot will simply tell you to go away. This happens even if you have a neutral reaction, but not a positive. Vree will tell you you're disrupting her meditation no matter what time it is, meaning you can't get the autopsy report from her through dialogue. Vance won't want to deal with you even if you got a recommendation from Lemmy or Jakob. And many more.

So far, all I've seen in the second game is an alternate intro whenever you speak to Marcus with negative Karma, or the Elder telling you you're no better than the Enclave and how ashamed she is that you were the chosen one.

What are all the other npc reactions when you talk to someone in both games?
