Right at the beginning you can choose if you're male or female, but no matter what I click on, it's always a male character. Restarted it multiple times because I thought I accidently choosed the wrong button, but nope.

Is this a bug or is there no female player model here?

I think it's a bug because I checked and was able to be a female. Doesn't hep with all the crashing though.

Check the stickled threads there, the one about the proper way to launch the game, that's what causes the player not being able to pick a female character i think.
