I just began playing Fallout a few days ago, and so far I love it. There are a few things that aren't so clear. First, what is the best way to get rid of radiated status early in the game. Second while bartering with bottle caps is there an easier way to scroll through the amount. Say if I need 500 bottle caps to make the trade even is the only way for me to get to 500bc is to click 500 times. (168 times with a triple click mouse)

1. Rad X solves all your radiation problems (minus mutants)
2. You can use the number keys to type in an amount no larger than 999.

heh I feel kinda stupid for no trying the num pad in the firs place

RadAway takes away radiation levels.
RadX gives you resistance to radiation, though, (obviously) have to be consumed prior to being exposed to radiation to have any effect.
