Some spoilers within, just to warn you.

In New Reno, after you sleep with Mr. Bishop's wife if you so choose, where do your companions go? Do they go back to their original placement or...? I honestly have no clue and I couldn't find another topic about this.

They should be waiting for you on the floor directly below, just talk to them to get them to accompany you again.

Although you might have problems leaving if you've not sided with the Bishops...

I've reloaded several times, and they aren't waiting on the lower floor for whatever reason. Maybe I overlooked them, but I suppose they're gone for good.

EDIT: Wow...I feel like I wasted your time now. I went back and decided to sleep with his daughter, and see if that would do anything. It did. They popped up by the stairs as soon as I went back down, but thanks for replying anyway.

Bugs in the game. They are supposed to pop there in the first place. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Count yourself lucky that you got them back! Most other times, you have to reload a saved game.
