so i got the quest from the blades to help free the town from the regulators. I was given a holodisk by razor to take to zimmerman, however when i talked to him there was no option to show him the holodisk! it was not in my inventory and talking to razor again did not give me an option to ask for it again.

SO i decided to do what the walkthrough told me: simply kill all the regulators. the problem? after killing them, all of the citizens of the town started attacking me as well. after whiping out the entire town i went back to razor and completed the quest.

But ive killed a lot of people id rather not have, including smitty (who appears in FO2)

And im afraid i might have killed my pathway to finding the military base

You can get a specific weapon and armor upgrade from people in the town,
but those are not essential and visiting the whole town is optional.

So aside from being bit of a butcher, you're still set for completing the game.
