Looks like the file setup_fallout_2.1.0.18.exe isn’t the one the script is expecting.
Can you please post the feedback of the following command?
md5sum /home/james/Downloads/setup_fallout_2.1.0.18.exe

I re-downloaded the installer just to be sure, and here is its MD5 sum:
47b7b3c059d92c0fd6db5881635277ea setup_fallout_2.1.0.18.exe

You have two solutions to build a package for Fallout:
_re-download the installer and make sure you get the correct checksum
_or if you think your installer is correct you can bypass the checksum test by using the '--checksum=none' option of the script

worked, thanks
Did had error during save, crashing my savefile. Is there a place to debug it?
Now GOG gives file named GOG_Galaxy_Fallout_2.exe

I made a copy of this exe named setup_fallout2_2.1.0.17.exe to fit script and added --checksum=none to ignore sum mismatch, yet the script stops with the following:
Using setup_fallout2_2.1.0.17.exe
Extracting data from setup_fallout2_2.1.0.17.exe
... and nothing after that.

Would you be so kind to provide any suggestions on what can be fixed?
