Is it possible to change the language to put him in French?
I have played a lot of time so if it's only in english it's not a true problem but...

maybe if you can find proper language patch and apply it to the game, or buy a localised game from the nearest shop (like what we have in russia - one of our software developing companies officially published translated versions of all fallouts).

I found the french patch, but since I installed it (in Fallout2), it was impossible to launch the game. It says at launch: "Running Fallout requires the CD"

Maybe I'd try back-uping original .exe, applying french patch and then re-write new .exe, which probably cause need of CD by original (GoG) one again.. I guess game won't be fully translated, but game texts are not stored in .exe file as far as I know... So let's say main menu and textures won't be translated, but speaking to others will be in french - you won't lose anything if you try it, anyway :D

pour avoir les dialogues en français, et même les sous-titres sur les vidéo (du moins celle d'intro puisque c'est la seule que j'ai vu jusqu'à présent) tu peux installer le patch restauration project qui existe en version française.

Salut! Comme l'a précisé DeLaVaga dans ce topic, tu peux changer le langage par défaut du jeu. Je suppose qu'il faut modifier en french... Après si tu préfères jouer avec le Restauration Project, c'est toi qui voit! (Je l'ai pas essayé).

I cant understand the post from above, but i think it makes reference to a post I wrote on another thread.
You can change the language of the game by editing the cfg file.
Copy-paste of the other thread:
Easiest way to change language:
1. Download and install the game
2. Go to directory>fallout.cfg and edit it
3. Change language=english for language=spanish
4. Profit
Type language=french instead of english, it works perfectly and without patching problems.
