So when I put items, be they weapons or otherwise into the ITEM 1 slot, they don't show up outside of the inventory. The slot just says "unarmed" no matter what I put in there. If I put things in the ITEM 2 slot, they show up just fine and are useable.

Any idea what's going on? I've tried any combination of placing items in the 2 slots, hasn't made a difference. I'm not crippled or anything.

Gosh I just fixed it by playing with sheathing/unsheathing. :B

How do you sheath? I'm having the same problem.

Yup I did search in the manual on several occasions before posting, couldn't find anything in there relating to what I wanted. But then I solved it by accident before any one had a chance to reply. :P
