It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

I am left-handed, and only way to close pipboy in F3 is to hit Tab Key, it's really anoying.

Hmm, if there's no option to remap the keys, you might be able to do a workaround. If you have a keyboard or mouse with customisable buttons (my logitech ones have them) you could assign tab to one of the keyboard special keys or a mouse button.
Not having the PC version I can't really say but it might have key assignments in an INI file and you could hardcode them in there.

i will think about it, tha same problem is with dead space and other games which are console ports,
first they smiplified gameplay, and now this, damn consoles :)
The changelog for the patch version 1.1 for Fallout 3, which was just released few days ago, includes this line:
Added ability to remap your VATS and pip boy buttons.

Guess you'll just have to install that and you'll be free to change it to any button you like :)
You can can get the patch from various sites, for example FileFront.com:

well from what I read you can remap the key to open them fine but they only close on pressing the original key. Unless that was in 1.0 and the patch changes it.
As I said I don't have the PC version so I'm not sure how it works
