sreaction: After playing Fallout 4, I just can't go back to the shitty shooting mechanics of the previous versions. I get the itch to play the game and then I remember how lame the shooting mechanics are and dont reinstall the game.
I just started to play Fallout 4 recently. And after going from 1, Tactics, 2, New Vegas, 3. So, finally I can say "Well... of course"
Fallout 4 is a FPS while Fallout 3 and New Vegas was more a "real time" approach to the original combats in turn from the first games. The percentage of shooting is there, and your skill have an impact on it. And... VATS, you need VATS in early levels, and even in high levels. So, yeah. F3 and New Vega falls poorly if you are looking solely FPS.
P.d. Strangely, I found more logical that my dweller or courier slowly became proficient with weapons that a law graduated be a redneck .
