I have steam version of the game and it crashes like every 15 mins. does gog version run better???

My crashes aren't 15 minutes apart, a bit longer but still crashes. I'm looking now for community fixes

I am currently doing a playthru of New Vegas and have very few crashes with the Steam version. Maybe once every 4 hours unless I'm in certain areas (such as Vault 34). Downgrading my NMC texture packs to the smallest version helped out quite a bit (I previously used the largest pack) . The New Vegas tick fix also seems to work better on my system than NVSR.

What fixes/mods did you apply to your game?

Essential mods for New Vegas are:

NVSE
JIP NVSE Plugin
NVAC
New vegas TICK FIX (If on WIN 10)
lStewie's tweaks
Unofficial Patch NVSE
YUP Unofficial Patch
FNVEdit (for cleaning official DLC's and merged Patch)
ModLimitRemover

The last one just was released and by report of quiet a few user it boosts performance further.

Edit: If you own Steam Version you need 4GB patcher. GOG version comes already patched.
