I downloaded Fallout 2 and have been trying to get it all patched up and running. The game launched fine from the normal installation, but after installing all the patches etc, i was having an issue with the game starting in compatibility mode. Found a guide on these forums for a fix, I deleted the registry keys like they said and the game is launching fine and I think the patches are installed correctly because I have the text in the main menu and I went in game and clicked on the rock behind the guy in front of the temple and it said thanks for installing the patch.

However the game isn't running hi res. I installed the unofficial patch and clicked legacy install for mac users for the hi res patch. Then when I installed the restoration project I skipped the installation of the res patch there, figuring it would be redundant. When I try to open f2_res_patcher in wine, the Fallout 2 icon shows up in my dock and goes away without any window popping up. I see the f2_res.ini file and have edited it to 1080p, but still nothing. When I try to change my screen settings in game I can't even find an option in the options menu.

I did a test run in wine on the f2_res_patcher.exe and it gave me this:

Not sure about the other stuff, but it is saying I'm missing the MSVCP60.dll even though I had already installed it when I was reading through another guide. So at this point i'm feeling kinda lost on getting this running 1080p on my mac. If you guys have any suggestions I would appreciate them, thanks.
