Has anyone ever encountered this strange place its right near the raiders cave it looks like just a big rock circle but when you go through it you seem to be in vault 13 its pretty wierd

It's a random encounter based on a Star Trek (Original series) episode. It's quite a funny one, really.

Yup. I had a devil of a time finding that encounter too, even with 300% outdoorsman and 10 luck.

That one is fun encounter, you can gain extra xp by using the computer for some extra fun and you can fine solar pistol there also.
