I finally got Fallout 3 running...sorta but now I'm experiencing an odd crash. I can't say I've ever seen anything like it before. Everything seems fine, game is running well, no issues and then suddenly the FPS just crashes down to the single digits and it CTD's. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason which is very odd. It doesn't happen when I change cells, go through doors, menus, but seems to happen completely at random while standing out in the open. It's completely random and non-reproducible since what I'm doing seems to have little to no bearing on what causes it.

I am running mods but usually with a mod the crashes are semi reliable and happen with specific things (load, cell change, looking at broken things, etc) while these seem random. I even did the same exact movements a crash previously happened on but didn't get one on the second attempt only to have it happen on a completely different spot/action.
