Look, I'm happy it's here at all, okay? Really. Now...

1. The difference between "no Creation Club content" and "no Creation Kit included" could be more clear in the store page. I've read that they are the same or that Bethesda or GoG has been upfront about it for some time. Well, not from the store page. And the Creation Kit was out for a long time before the CC came around. Please make this more clear. Probably would have held off my purchase if I'd known.

2. DRM free, but the Creation Club's files are still part of the installation. At around 500 megs, this really is a nitpick, maybe they need to be there for the game to be compatible across platforms, but....come on. Creation Kit not included, and it's less than half the size of these files? The CK does not need the CC functionality to run.

Tiny dumb rant over. Thanks.
1. The "Creation Kit" is something different than the "Creation Club".
The Creation Kit is the tool to create your own modifications (more extensive than a level editor but you could say so) and to create your own scripts etc..
The Creation Club is Bethesda's own sales platform, their own store (where they sell modifications & more).

As far as I know there is no official Creation Kit (by Bethesda) here on GOG.

2. I can't say anything about that yet. I own Fallout 4 now on GOG but my line here is very slow (small village here where I live).

In any case, I'm also glad that Fallout 4 is now available for purchase here on GOG, too.

1. Creation Kit : You can get directly from bethesda by setting up an account on their site long enough to download it. should work just fine on the GoG version. The download on steam was just a convenience thing, and not required. Its ONLY PURPOSE is to edit the game files.
Creation Club: This was just bethesda's cash store.

2. I haven't looked to be sure, so I can't say if Creation Club Content is in the GoG install, but if it is, you should rejoice... because it means after grabbing the Creation Kit, you can potentialy build custom (free) mods from that (paid) Creation Club Content.... something tells me that's unlikely to be the cause of the file size difference though.
@Void_Singer

Can you Start the Creation Kit without Steam or the old Bethesda launcher? I can't. When i start directly the CreationKit.exe it will first start/run Steam.
I downloaded the kit on steam and it won't launch. I press it & it says cancel, stop, then launch, like it shut down.

I tried copying the creation kit to my FO4 folder, says it needs steam. Copied FO4 to my creation kit folder, same issue as above.

id games so much easier to mod. :p
It looks like if the creation kit was still on the bethesda launcher, we could use it. The Steam one requires Steam fallout 4 from what I can tell.
Oh, I was hoping with a title like this it would actually be a thread about issues with the GOG version of the game, because I'll say, if I launch it from GOG Galaxy, I have to restart Galaxy every time I've played, otherwise it gets stuck on "Syncing saves" at 0% when I try to launch Fallout 4 again. Haven't seen this with any other game.
