Help!

I don't understand how to use the helpful crash fixes posted here, or if they're safe. I have no idea what the problem is I'm trying to fix since the only error report wasn't sure either. I have no idea what hardware I'm using even, other than the OS is windows7. I just like old jazz and cynical dystopian satires. ;..(

If there's a debugging saint out there who's used to dealing with idiots I'd love to chat!

My best bet is that you're running game on Intel chip which is unsupported. You need dedicated GPU. Nvidia or AMD. Or you can of course search Nexus mods for Intel HD bypass.

Click start, find My Computer or This PC, right click it and click properties.

At the top right click device manager. You'll see a list of things with little arrows, click the arrow next to display adapters and tell us the names of the devices that show up once you do.

Go back to the properties window you opened before and tell us what it says after Processor and Installed Memory (RAM)

FO3 is definitely a bad PC game for a newbie to start with tbh, you're going to need to learn a lot potentially to get it working and even more to deal with the bugs.
