I'm playing with Killap's Restoration Project and no other mods. I'm playing an evil character and just finished wiping out the mole rats and some villagers in the vault village quest from Stark. After which I noticed Vic wasn't following me any more, though he still showed up when I moved between maps. When I talk to him, he just says "I'll rip your damn head off! Nobody hurts my family!" I've tried hitting him, planting a bomb on him, making him aggressive and ending combat (all after a save) and I'm ready to abandon this playthrough.

I've found lots of threads everywhere about "apathetic vic" one of which offers a solution with a save editor, but that solution doesn't work here. Also those threads report him saying something like "I've had it up to here" and that's not what I'm getting.

I seem to remember reading something about weird flags being set when attacking the vault village a while back, but I can't remember what they were, but I'm sure I didn't see anything about Vic.
