I'm running Fallout 1 vanilla, no mods at all. I'm on the 2nd floor of the Glow, but I've run out of inventory space for not only me, but for Ian and Tycho. I recall reading somewhere than Ian had an unlimited weight limit, but a bunch of flamer fuel I've just found seems to contradict that. Do companions indeed have a weight limit? And am I going to have to travel back and forth between The Hub and The Glow to deal with all this gear? I'd go to the Boneyard, but I don't really want to trade high-end crap for a bunch of nuka cola and 50 bullets for guns I don't use.

EDIT: because I (rather quickly) solved my own problem, and in case anybody else ever comes across this issue.

Apparently companions have no weight limit, but there's a limit on items based on their sizes (same apparently applies to containers, although I haven't run into that yet). I've been using steal to access their inventory, but apparently talking to them and using Barter bypasses all weight/size limits and lets me give them as much stuff as necessary.

EDIT2: Ahahah I've got a much bigger problem, turns out one of my Rad-X wore off without any notice and I'm almost at 1000 rads, this is gonna be fun

First time The Glow put me over my rads was during a brief and obsessive bout of trying to beat ZAX at chess.
Jess Heinig explains somewhere that it was supposed to be possible on a critical success, but an error in the coding made critical successes impossible.
I've nothing but horrible memories of The Glow, and I never even went above 350 rads...
I actually really like the Glow, I think it's a really neat area. Just eat your two Rad-X as soon as you arrive on the surface, and don't play chess more than once or twice without exiting dialog and eating a couple more.

Apart from the mortal fear caused by an invisible unstoppable gruesome death, it's pretty spiffy. And there's lots of neat loot there, too.
Still not sure how I ended up with only one active Rad-X (maybe I thought I took two but really didn't?). Either way, playing chess with the computer took up enough time for the Radaway to fully kick in, so I'm all good now.

This really is one of the cooler areas of the game so far.
Yeah, I love The Glow, it has amazing atmosphere. I feel like the Sierra Army Depot of Fallout 2 is a non-radioactive The Glow. I get the same kinda vibe there; another one of my favorite areas.
