This post concerns Fallout: New Vegas

All of a sudden, FalloutNV.exe has disappeared from the game folder. It was patched by Tale of Two Wastelands, so it is kind of a pain to reinstate it.

What happened here?

The only time I've had a file go missing was when I ran Kaspersky. Is it possible that the file was flagged/quarantined by an anti-malware program on your computer?

Otherwise, the only other thing I would guess at is the online cloud backup that Galaxy uses along with the auto-update. I always turn that off as it sometimes causes issues with some games. Particularly saves not working after an update.
