i got a copy of the fallout trilogy (falout's 1, 2, and tactics) and whenever i boot up tactics it crashes ever 5-10 mins and sine i forget to quicksave everynow and again i barely get anywhere in the game does anyone know what the problem might be?

If your running vista or win 7 right click on the game shortcut and go to properties. Them the compatibility tab and set the following:
Windows xp compatibility
Turn off desktop compisition
Disable visual themes
Run as administrator.

im running it on xp can i still do this or do i have to do something else?

Ahh if your running xp compatibility shouldn't be such an issue. Try turning of sound hardware acceleration. To do this go to start menu, run, then type dxdiag. Once thats loaded up go to the sound tab and change the hardware acceleration slider to turn it off. See if that stops the crashes.
