Problem: when the satellite begins the movie projection (the eye), the game immediately crashes. I have already disabled all autosaving for the game. I am running this game in Windows 7 with the default settings and no mods.

Edit: To get the video to run required modifying run settings for the game. Simply changing the properties for this game by enabling compatibility mode. However, once NVSE and YUP was installed, compatibility mode wasn't needed to be set on the game executable.

Now the game allows the satellite to project. When the satellite is selected, the game runs the Old World Blues intro video, and then it crashes immediately at the end of the video.

This game also crashes after control panel is activated during That Lucky Old Sun quest, the final action of the quest.
Edit: this required a mod to fix, and even with the mod it's possible to crash the game unless initiatig the generator repair and assign the power after 9AM.

This game is unpredictable and seems to crash at various points in different quests and sidequests.

While I didn't have and issue getting into Old World Blues, it was the most buggy part of the game. It was the only part that regularly crashed.

Step wiki says to clean your DLC's THOUGH... If I'm honest, when I did that with Skyrim I had more crashes not less. Something to consider though.
