EN: After a couple of months playing, I tried to start using a PS4 controller, and it does not work. The game doesn't start if the controller is plugged, and if I plug it after the game loads, it doesn't recognize it. Any suggestions?

ES: Después de un par de meses jugando, quise empezar a usar mi mando de Play 4 pero no funciona. Si cargo el juego con el Dualshock conectado, no pasa de la pantalla de carga; y si lo enchufo después de que el juego cargo, no lo reconoce. ¿Sugerencias?

You need to use DS4. Playstation controller support is a relatively new thing, and even some modern games don't have it.

Edit: I checked PCGaming wiki ([url=https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas#Input]https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas#Input[/url]) and it says X-input only. Which means no Dual Shock (PS4/5) support.

First party Xbox controllers will work out of the box (I think that includes 360 controllers, but I'm not in a position to test that).

Can't comment on Playstation 4 controllers or DS4, as the one I have now is giving me grief.
