Hello.

I have the latest version of Gog galaxy. When I try to load a save from New Vegas it goes to the loading screen, but does not load. I am not able to alt tab, control alt delete brings of the task manager, but I cannot access it. The only thing that I am able to do is arrow key down to the restart computer button and restart my computer.

I had this problem with the prior version of Gog galaxy as well. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, were you able to fix the problem?

I just noticed that there is a very large thread about this problem below. I will see if there is a fix below and delete this post if so.

Apparently there is no fix for this issue currently.

Hi there; I've just encountered this same issue.
Even restarting the machine twice didn't work.
In Steam they they recommend using an autosave mod called CASM.

This worked for me:

> Start a New Game
> Pause the game as soon as you can
> Load your previous file (I had only two and tested both)
> ???
> Profit!

I fixed this by right clicking on the Fallout New Vegas folder in the GOG Games folder, and deselecting the read only option.

Same Problem with me, this solution worked.
