I would like to get the Strength bobblehead from Simms's house, but he isn't leaving his door unlocked this time. I've done The Power of Atom and disarmed the bomb. I finally tried using the console, and though I can click on the door, it doesn't have "Door" in the reference id, just "". So the unlock command doesn't work, even though the console says "Unlocked".

Manya is leaving her door locked, too, this time. The command worked on her door, saying "Unlocked Door", though it did stay red when I looked at it.

Any ideas that don't involve starting over or picking the lock in the future?

I could be wrong but you might just have to pick the lock, I picked it at night when they were sleeping.

You could also see if maybe Lucas has a key that you can steal or use console command to place in your inventory although I'm not sure of this as I've never tried to pick his pocket.

I finally started over, and this time he unlocked his door after I defused the bomb. The only thing of consequence that I did differently is that I didn't talk to Burke before defusing the bomb. I'm not sure if that made a difference or not, but all is well now.
