MAJOR UPDATE, Y'ALL:
I FIXED IT! MY HUNCH AS I WAS WRAPPING UP MY POST WAS RIGHT! There was something about 1600+ weight worth of stuff on my person is what was causing issues. I dumped my inventory into the closet box and it booted right up! Let's be a notice to my fellow command users: always remember what your original carry weight is and dump your inventory before doing a DLC!

Original Post Below:

Hey everyone!

I've been playing this game for a good 15 or so total hours on the GOG release alone, and I've encountered a bit of an issue...

I'm playing the Operation Anchorage DLC, or at least trying to, as when I climb into the simulation chair, it does the whole animation of the simulation activating, but then it just crashes to desktop!

I've played through all of Fallout 3 on Steam and Xbox 360 before playing it through GOG, and I've never encountered this issue before...

Here's some information about my computer:

Processor AMD Ryzen 7 4700U with Radeon Graphics 2.00 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

I have the game (and everything else on my computer) running through a mounted AMD Radeon RX 580 graphics card. (Mounted as in this is a mini PC, and I had to use an adapter to install it.)

I adjusted some graphics settings, reset my carry weight (I was using a command to alter it), and I even did a verify/repair on the installation.

Here's some information about my run so far...

Standing with Brotherhood Outcasts: I went into one of their bases, and they were hostile, but the ones at the outpost that the DLC takes place in are friendly.
Command usage: I used a command to increase my carry weight. I also did the Paradise Falls questline, then freed the slaves I captured (fun fact: Flak is permanently bugged if you free him).

A thought did occur literally as I'm writing this: could it be that I have an insane amount of items on me? I'll dump my inventory and try again, but, in the meantime, please do give me some insight!
