Bought Fallout 3 on GOG hearing that it works better than the steam version, after multiple failed ttempts with everything from messing w settings and service packs etc and yet still cant get past the first loading screen all my drivers are up to date and all that just dont know how to get it to wrok.

Are you using Intel graphics?

Fallout 3 does not support Intel graphics. You will have to look for a FO3 Intel fix and try any and all that you find until you find one that works for you.

Start with the link below. The "d3d9.dll" file is what matters the most. If that one does not work, look for others that will.

The files from Nexus mods helped. I do need to launch it striaght from the F3 folder icon instead of using GOG icon though. But as long as it's working I am happy with it
