Computer Specs: intel i5 4400 8GB with a intel HD graphics 4600

The game launches and i can't get past the main menu because when i click to start a new game, Fallout 3 crashes. I've tried out some fixes like the intel HD bypass but they just made the situation worse (it made my game crashes before even loading up the main menu) and i checked up "FALLOUT.ini" file and it already came up with the "bUseThreadedAI" set to 1 with the line "iNumHWThreads=2" down under.

^^ That's your problem. FO3 won't work with Intel graphics and the HD bypass only works for some. I couldn't get it to work under any circumstances. I finally discovered that it was defaulting to my Intel chip. I forced the game to use the nVidia card and now it works great. You need a card other than Intel.

The odd thing is that i also got the game on steam and it worked up there after i used the bypass and the fallout.ini fix. I just bought the game on GOG because i'm liking this platform more than steam
Nevermind, after uninstalling and reinstalling it for more than 4 times i got it right, the intel bypass worked out. I've checked out the cloud synch option before uninstalling for the last time, so i got brand original files (not the ones that i was editing before and turning then on a monstrosity). I'm pretty sure that it didn't worked before because i've recently had the steam version of the game installed and this created a conflict with the "my games" folder files
Hey, try to find the answer on gaming wiki . I gues it can help you. I had the same problem when i was trying to start CSGO. helped me to find the resolution of my problem. Good luck!
Happy you got it to work, but frankly, you can't expect a game to work if your computer does not meet the requirements, and the GOG page for Fallout 3 clearly says it does not support Inttel HD processors.
