Fallout 3 crashes almost immediately as soon as the main menu boots up. I had the exact same problem with the steam version. I have no mods installed and have made no alterations to any of the files. I'm at a complete loss as to what's going on here.

My specs: Operating System: Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~4.0GHz
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Damn nothing yet huh? I don't own this particular entry quite yet...

However I've been reading up in prep to buy it, supposedly the GOG version already has several fixes but just in case..

1 -> Make sure bUseThreadedAI=1 and iNumHWThreads=2 is set in your fallout.ini (I assume like the other titles these should be under [General] but I'm unsure, I can't exactly check now can I?

2 -> If you don't have the inis make sure you started via the launcher the first time and not through Fose or something, you can also try deleting the inis and redoing the process, it seems like that magically fixes thing for some people for some reason.

3 -> Apparently Windows 7 GFWL can get in the way as well? GOG should fix it for W10 but I wonder if it works for 7? You might want to look into that. Apparently installing FOSE also disables it, so you ought to try that but not before step 1.

4 -> Make sure FO3 isn't using your intel graphics, use your nvidia control panel to fix it, I assume you know how but if not let me know.
